Sling-Stik is a new and innovative hands free safety tool. This tool allows a user to quickly grab onto chain slings, wire rope slings, synthetic slings, rebar, rope, webbing, welded handles or hard points, d-rings and eye bolts. The Sling-Stik is a rigid no-touch safety tool that keeps workers away from suspended loads while keeping control of the load. The user can push/pull and maneuver around a suspended load while keeping their hands, feet and body away from fall zones and crush points. The Sling-Stik comes with 3 different size heads which are easily changed by loosening the steel cap screw with the provided 5/16 inch allen wrench. Sling-Stik comes in a high visibility green/yellow color and has 2 highly reflective bands for visibility in low light or night working conditions. This color and the reflective bands also make it easy to locate and hard to lose.
Sling-Stik is used in the precast concrete industry for guiding and controlling suspended concrete forms as well as heavy precast structures like vaults, rings and more. It has also proven useful in hands-off controlling of suspended loads such as rebar mesh and prefabricated buildings, structures and assemblies.
